Learn the Rainbow Colors
The seven colors of the rainbow are:
- Violet
- Indigo
- Blue
- Green
- Yellow
- Orange
- Red
You can easily remember this by the abbreviation VIBGYOR. Each letter stands for the respective color name. (V- violet, I – indigo, B – blue, G – green, Y – yellow, O – orange, R – Red).
Rainbow Worksheet
This free printable is a colorful pdf file, and it has two pages.
In the first page, color the rainbow shapes, and trace the color names. For example, the first rainbow shape has to be colored violet, the second shape has to be colored blue, and so on.
The second page is the exact same as the first, except it is for cursive handwriting practice. There you can write the color names in cursive.
